Meet The FurlifeVets Founders

Dr. Jesus M. Aramendi

Dr. Jesus has always had a deep passion for animals and medicine. As a child in Venezuela, he was captivated by Jacques Cousteau on National Geographic and frequently read anatomy books. This fascination led Dr. Jesus to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, which he pursued at the prestigious Universidad Francisco de Miranda, where he graduated with honors in 2001.

After completing all necessary certifications, Dr. Jesus obtained his Florida Veterinary License in 2008 and has since worked as a general and urgent care practitioner. His expertise and passion for surgery, medicine, and veterinary dentistry have made him a leader in the industry, and he has overseen veterinary quality for multiple markets while working for Banfield Pet Hospital.

While at Chewy, Dr. Jesus was instrumental in developing the company's existing veterinary telehealth platform and other initiatives. Dr. Jesus' contributions to the field have earned him a place on the admissions committee for the University of Florida's college of veterinary medicine.

With FurlifeVets, Dr. Jesus is confident that he can offer clients and patients the most personalized and authentic care available. FurlifeVets is committed to filling the gap in pet care, and clients and patients can expect unparalleled care and attention at his veterinary office.

Patricia Cordero

Patricia Cordero's passion for animal welfare began at a young age, where she eagerly sought to help injured wildlife and pet every dog in her neighborhood. Pursuing this passion, she began volunteering at a veterinary hospital in her hometown at the age of 18. Since then, she has worked in various roles in the veterinary field, including veterinary assistant, groomer assistant, veterinary technician, lead technician, and small animal and wildlife veterinarian.

In 2013, Patricia obtained her veterinary degree from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena, and throughout her career, she has made client education and customer satisfaction her top priorities. However, her passion extended beyond veterinary medicine, and she decided to pursue a career in real estate. She has been a licensed agent in Florida for five years, where she has helped countless clients find their dream homes.

As a co-founder of FurlifeVets, Patricia is committed to building a veterinary practice that embodies love, compassion, comfort, and continued education for clients and staff alike. Her unique background and expertise in both veterinary medicine and real estate make her a valuable asset to the FurlifeVets team.
